Default
60 calls a minute for a new key.
Developers
Rate limits
Each API key has its own limit, counted in calls per minute.
The numbers
Range
Any limit from 1 to 6,000 calls a minute.
Per key
The limit applies to each key on its own, for both the Chat API and the WhatsApp API.
Planning your limits
- Give each system its own key, so a busy system cannot use up another's limit.
- Set the limit close to what the system really needs.
- Each key shows its call count, so you can see how much it is used.
