Base has a Chat API and a WhatsApp API, so your own systems can work with your conversations. Each brand manages its own API keys.

Pick a connected WhatsApp number, then manage that number's keys.
How access works
- Keys belong to one brand.
- Only people whose role includes API access can read the API docs and make or revoke keys.
- Each key has its own limit of calls per minute.
- A key can have a label and an optional expiry date.
- The full key is shown once, when it is made.
Where the docs are
The API docs live in the chat console and are the same for every brand. Open them from the API page in your console.
