Roles and permissions
Each role opens only what it needs. Make new roles that open exactly the pages a person uses.
Base by Exodus
You stay in control
Base is built so AI helps without taking decisions away from you. Roles decide who sees what, and cards ask before anything important happens.
Access
Branch access
Choose for each person whether they see all branches or only some.
Invites that expire
An invite link works for 7 days and can be cancelled.
AI that asks first
- A change that needs your yes shows a card first. Nothing changes until you answer.
- Bots can only send on their own within limits their maker sets, up to 200 a day.
- Payments, refunds, credit, deletes, billing, staff, roles, permissions, bot changes and connectors never run on their own.
- If someone else changes a bot's instructions or tools, its sending on its own pauses until its maker turns it back on.
Outside tools
- Every new or changed connector tool starts off and needs a check.
- Every connector call is recorded, with secrets hidden.
Data and memory
- Customers cannot open AI memory.
- Removed memories are kept as Past, with the reason.
- Anyone can ask the assistant to forget everything it learned about them.
- The assistant's name cannot look like a person on your team or your brand, so nobody mistakes it for a real person.
